IMMER Ukrplastic

IMMER Ukrplastic is the largest manufacturer of flexible packaging materials for the food, cosmetic, pharmaceutical and other industries in Central and Eastern Europe. The history of the company began in 1927. For more than 20 years, the company has been providing a full production cycle for manufacturing flexible polymer packaging materials, from granules and inks to finished rolled materials and packages. The products meet the environmental and law requirements of all sales markets, including the EU and the US, and are exported to 35 countries. A high level of product quality is confirmed by international certificates and numerous awards in the packaging industry.

The company produces flexible packaging materials that have an excellent appearance, high barrier properties, are effectively processed on packaging machines, extend the shelf life of products, and are environmentally friendly at all stages of life.

In production coextrusion lamination and coating, duplex, triplex and inline adhesive lamination based on solvent and solvent-free technologies are applied. Vacuum metallization with preliminary plasma treatment of the films surface is carried out. Electronic design, digital and laser technologies of prepress processes, flexographic and gravure printing with stochastic screening are applied. Different types of inks and varnishes, including those with UV binding are used.

The company has its own research and development center where the production process is systematically improved, new resource-saving technologies are introduced, new materials are developed and customized product solutions for business development are offered.

The products we develop and produce comply with the norms and regulations of EU for materials that come in to contact with food. Our products contain only safe components that do not harm packaged products. Our accredited in-house laboratory has the latest equipment and carries out constant analysis and quality control of the products.

Ecology

The nature of our business and involvement in the value chain requires special attention to the safety and quality of our products. At the core of our development lies the concept of safe and reasonable consumption.

The products we develop and produce comply with the norms and regulations for materials that come in to contact with food (No. 10/2011, No. 1935/2004).

Our products contain only safe components that do not harm packaged products. The raw materials are designed and manufactured in accordance with the recommendations of EuPIA, XXVIII BfR, comply with the FDHA regulations on materials and products, and the requirements of the FDA regulation.

The safety of our packaging is regularly confirmed by EU Laboratories.

We are an official representative of the UN SAVE FOOD International Initiative, whose goal is to reduce the amount of food waste.

Social Responsibility

Since 2017 IMMER Group has been committed to the UN Global Compact corporate responsibility initiative and its principles in the areas of human rights, labour, the environment, and anti-corruption.

The United Nations Global Compact is a call to companies everywhere to align their operations and strategies with ten universally accepted principles in the areas of human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption, and to take action in support of UN goals and issues embodied in the Sustainable Development Goals. The UN Global Compact is a leadership platform for the development, implementation and disclosure of responsible corporate practices. Launched in 2000, it is the largest corporate sustainability initiative in the world, with more than 9,000 companies and 3,000 non-business signatories based in over 160 countries.

The Group works under the HACCP System. Our social protection of employees and compliance with social standards is regularly assessed by an international audit as part of the confirmation of compliance with the international OHSAS Standard.

The Group has become the first workplace for hundreds of young people. Students and graduates of universities, including Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design (KNUTD), Kyiv Polytechnic University (KPI), Kyiv National Trade and Economic University (KNTEU), the National University of Food Technologies (NUFT), and Kyiv National Economic University named after Vadym Hetman (KNEU) are undergoing practical training and internship at the production base of the company. The company finances the participation of students in international professional competitions. An independent trade union organization is actively working in the company.
